WHY GLOBAL FOREST?

Forests sustain life. They represent 30% of the planet’s landmass. And we lose 15'000'000'000 (15bn) trees each year!

Trees are our source of clean air and oxygen, pure water, food and energy. And they regulate climate. In fact, 75% of fresh water is provided by forests and 26% of the world population relies on wood as a source of energy. In return, 70-80% of cleared forests are for agricultural use. 15% of GHG emissions are due to deforestation.

Without trees there is no life on Earth. And yet, forests have no identity and their benefits are invisible to the human eye.

We are on a question to give trees an identity. Join now the 1M Trees Challenge.
