Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.

When you create an account with us, you must provide us information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.
You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password, whether your password is with our Service or a third-party service.
You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
You may not use as a username the name of another person or entity or that is not lawfully available for use, a name or trade mark that is subject to any rights of another person or entity other than you without appropriate authorization, or a name that is otherwise offensive, vulgar or obscene.
The Service and its original content (excluding Content provided by users), features and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of +impactTravel and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the Switzerland and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of +impactTravel.

Our Service may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by +impactTravel.
+impactTravel has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that +impactTravel shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services.
We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or services that you visit.
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service.
Limitation Of Liability
In no event shall +impactTravel, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.
Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or course of performance.
+impactTravel its subsidiaries, affiliates, and its licensors do not warrant that a) the Service will function uninterrupted, secure or available at any particular time or location; b) any errors or defects will be corrected; c) the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components; or d) the results of using the Service will meet your requirements.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.

+impactTravel ("us", "we", or "our") operates the impact-travel.world website (the "Service").
This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

+impactTravel does not sell or share you data with third-parties. However, we may use third-party porviders to deliver part of the above services. In such cases we ensure they have the necessary data protection policies in place.

+impactTravel will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Service, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction.
If you are located outside Switzerland and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to Switzerland and process it there.

We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service ("Service Providers"), to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

We may provide paid products and/or services within the Service. In that case, we use third-party services for payment processing (e.g. payment processors).

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13 ("Children").
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Children has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
Membership Terms and Conditions
+impactTravelis as an association established in Geneva, Switzerland. When you join +impactTravel as a "member", you are entitles to a service provided by the association. The word "member" or "membership" refers to your status as a member to these service.
Members will benefit during the membership period from the following service:
- The right to use to use the +impactTravel label on their publications, marketing material and on the web.
- Feature on the +impactTravel website and related social media
- Support material to implement the Guiding Principles
- Periodic tips and trends in sustainable and responsible travel
- Access to peer organsations to share sustainable and responsible travel best practices
Conditions of membership - Membership period
Membership runs for 12 consecutive months from the date when a member has applied and their application has been approved. Membership can be automatically renewed for the same period, unless membership request a termination 30 days period to the end of the ongoing membership period.
Members fees are based on the type of organisation (acconodacion, food, transportation, sight, activity) and can be billed monthly or annually, depending on the members prefence
Conditions of membership - applications and validation
+impactTravel membership is open to travel, hospitality and visitor services organisationâ€™s willing to demonstrate their sustainable and responsible travel credentials.
Travel organisations involved in one of the following are not eligible for membership:
- Ethical, human rights and environmental issues;
- Employing individuals and working with organisations (business partners, suppliers, consultants, sub-contractors, etc) that have ethical, human rights and environmental issues;
- Arms, drugs, sex dealings and child/slave labour as well as any other illicit activities;
- Land degradation, deforestation, wildlife extinction and cultural heritage destruction.
- We will grant your membership on the basic of the following application and the verification we will undertake within 3 working days from receiving your application and membership fee.
Once a member submits an application, it is reviewed by the +impactTravel team. +impactTravel will verify and validate all applications with 3 working days from application and fee payments. If approved, the applicant receives an automated welcome message as a new member with login details into the member area of the +impactTravel website.
+impactTravel can conduct selected field audits with prior agreement with the travel organisation and mystery guess visits without prior notification during the membership period.
Applicants who are not approved will be contacted by +impactTravel individually: either with a request for further information or informing the applicant of +impactTravel's decision to decline the application.
+impactTravel reserves its right not to fulfill or to cancel a member application at anytime for a bridge in the Guiding Principles, The Sustainable and Responsible Travel Charter and this Terms and Conditions.
If a member is accepted into +impactTravel membership and subsequently it turns out that any or all of the information they provided was misleading or false +impactTravel reserves its right to revoke the membership with immediate effect, without the right of appeal.
Conditions of membership - Membership cancellation
A member of +impactTravel who has subscribed to +impactTravel membership can cancel their membership anytime by contacting +impactTravel in writing at email@example.com
Members who cancel their membership are removed from membership with effect from the date on which their resignation is received by +impactTravel and all their member benefits and rights cease at that time. Memebership fees are annual and will not be reimbursed. If the payment is monthly, the member will continue to pay until the end of the contactual period.
Conditions of membership Member organisations obligations
+impactTravel expects of its members the highest standards of dignity, fairness and integrity. These values and expectations form the basis of +impactTravel Guiding Principles that members are requested to abide. Members have the obliagtion to:
- Inform +impactTravel of any changes related to ist activities, in pacticular in relation to the Guiding Principles
- Share their latest Sustainable and Responsible activities and offers
- Add a link on their website to the +impactTravel website.
Members may be invited to events organised by +impactTravel or by its partners if such events are considered to be of value and benefit to members. Our events may be subject to separate terms and conditions. Please check these at the time of booking.
Prizes and Competition Rules
All prizes and competitions which are associated with +impactTravel offers are subject to separate terms and conditions, as written at the time of the prize draw, competition or offer
Any fees displayed on the +impactTravel website are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right to increase the price of products and services on regular basis. If this would be related to services subscribed by existing members, members will be informed in advance.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by the Law of Switzerland. If any court or competent authority decides that any of the provisions of these terms are invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, the term will, to that extent only, be severed from the remaining terms, which will continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by the law.
A person who is not party to these terms shall not have any rights under or in connection with them.
Liability for 3rd parties
+impactTravel liability to its members will not extend to any membership related benefits, goods or services provided by an external provider. +impactTravel specifically excludes liability for any loss or damage suffered by a member as a result of their involvement in whatever manner with an external provider.
Accuracy of +impactTravel information
Reasonable effort is made to ensure the accuracy of information provided on our websites, in newsletters, and any other publications; however, neither we nor the authors can accept liability for errors and omissions within its publications.
Neither party shall be liable to the other for any delay or non-performance of its obligations by reason of matters beyond its control including, but not limited to, any act of terrorism, war, riot, civil commotion, compliance with any law or government order, fire, flood or storm, strikes, or any other industrial dispute, delay in transit, power failure, postal delay, or any event that cannot be reasonably be planned for or avoided.
Variations to this agreement
+impactTravel may change these terms and conditions at any time upon giving its members 14 days prior notice. The most recent edition of these terms and conditions will be binding upon +impactTravel Members. +impactTravel Members may exit the contract if they do not accept any proposed variation. These terms and conditions override any contrary terms or conditions published in relation to any membership subscription between a member and +impactTravel.
If +impactTravel privacy policies change, +impactTravel will notify its members and subscribers by e-mail or a special announcement placed on this website.
Queries, complaints, comments
We will endeavor to respond within 48 hours to any complaint or query received. This may be an acknowledgement that we have received a complaint whilst further investigations are carried out.
