At Nimmo Bay, we understand that we don’t own the land; the land owns us. We are lucky to be here and must act as stewards of this miraculous land, the Great Bear Rainforest. This awesome ecosystem is the largest intact coastal temperate rainforest in the world. We take our stewardship responsibilities seriously, as is reflected in our Statement of Stewardship We believe that sustainability requires strategic planning and an inherent love for the environment, and our team is aware of the many concerns around living in a remote wilderness area.
